Varsha Kumari Mistry has worked as a Forensic Practitioner with the Metropolitan Police Service in London for over 33 years.

She trained as a Fingerprint Expert. Her work involves examining homicide, serous crime scenes, vehicles and exhibits in a forensic laboratory for evidence recovery purposes. She presents forensic evidence in court.

She is also the current deputy chairperson for the Metropolitan Police Hindu Association, which involves voluntarily offering support to the membership, Met Police Service and communities of London. She is involved in welfare support of colleagues and promoting well-being. As a proud mother of three children, spirituality and well-being are very much at the heart of both her family and professional life for bringing out the best in all.

Dr Rushalli is a meritorious alumna of the prestigious RA Poddar Ayurvedic College, Mumbai, with a master’s degree in Kayachikita (Ayurvedic Internal Medicine) and an ardent Ayurvedic practitioner since 2002.She is trained in a very special method of ‘Ravana Nadi Pariksha’ (pulse diagnosis) and has successfully performed more than 700 Nadi Parikshas in 5 years.
Rushali  is the founder of ‘Vedang Clinic’, a premium Ayurvedic treatment centre in Mumbai, which specializes in Panchakarma services for the past 15 years. She has conducted seminars on ‘Ayurveda & Spirituality’ in France and UAE.
As humanity struggles to cope with this pandemic, medical science of Ayurveda, shows us the way to boost our immune system as well as to improve our physical and mental fitness by a combination of lifestyle practices, healthy food and holistic treatment. Dr. Mrs. Rasika Prasanna Purandare has completed Batchelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) from Government Ayurvedic Medical College, India. Further, she went on to pursue Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.) focusing on natural therapies like mud therapy, massage therapy, magnetotherapy, and yoga. Lastly, she has also completed her M.D (AM) and PhD (AM) in Alternative Medicines.

She has been efficiently working in the area of Ayurvedic medicine from last 23 years, in India and abroad. Currently, she is working as ‘Ayurvedic Consultant’ at Ayurvedic Universe Center in Mauritius. Throughout her career, she has been actively conducting health and hygiene awareness seminars.

Health in Ayurveda is about physical, mental, and spiritual awareness. Ayurveda is based on the foundational belief that health is a delicate balance between mind, body, and soul. Thus, the science of Ayurveda remains crucial in achieving the balance for every individual. Dr. Purandare’s session will elaborate on achieving that balance.

Dr. Milen Shah – is a NHS doctor for many years and is a GP Partner in a large practice in London serving a variety of patients. He follows up a range of long term patients from children, teens, adults, with a particular interest in elderly and end-of-life care. From a spiritual background, the work is deemed as “seva” (service) with an emphasis on communication skills with compassion and understanding.

Milen  is a volunteer and student at Chinmaya Mission, learning about the Vedanta philosophy, and in facilitating classes for toddlers & parents on the theme of Hindu culture.

Dr. Nikolaos Kostopoulos qualified at Athens Medical University, Greece. He worked in the Renal Unit of the Naval Hospital in Athens, in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital of Chest Diseases in Athens and in the Respiratory Unit of the Manchester Royal Infirmary in England.
Dr. Kostopoulos was introduced to Ayurveda by Vaidya Asvin Barot and, in collaboration with him, he practiced privately in Harley street in London (UK) for 10 years combining Ayurveda and modern medicine.  He established the Holistic Health Centre in Athens in 1999.
In addition to running his medical practice, Dr. Kostopoulos is involved in ongoing research within the field of psychosomatic disease and stress management through Ayurveda.
He is a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy in England and of the Hellenic Homeopathic Association in Greece. He regularly participates in International conferences and has given lectures in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, Canada and India promoting a modern, scientific approach to Ayurveda.

Dr Avtar Singh studied Āyurveda in Punjab India in 1974. He has been continuously practising Āyurveda in India and in the UK since 1983 treating clients suffering from chronic ailments. He pioneered Āyurveda on UK’s Sunrise and Vecton Televisions from 2005 to 2010. Dr Avtar Singh was awarded the prestigious Āyurveda Ratan award by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Indian Traditional Sciences in the Houses of Commons in 2018 for his outstanding contribution to many years of research on Āyurveda and Immune System. Dr Venkata N Joshi, conferred a PhD in Ayurveda from Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar India. He also taught at Uchiliste Ayurveda, Croatia and Ayurveda School in Tapovan France.

Dr Joshi is a board member of the British Āyurvedic Medical Council and has regular workshops on Āyurveda in Germany, Austria, and Spain.
