Senegalese find many reasons to come together and dance, shaking off stress. Ancient and urban rhythms of Mblax drum orchestra pound in synchronization, inspiring airborne legs, arms, and empowered hearts.
Abdou’s performances grace  schools, parks and stages, bringing healing through joy. He brings laughter, amazement and respect for elders as part of his message, and encourages audiences and students to new experiences in their bodies.

Abdou plans to share his contagious energy through live drumming and dance, and speak about the social context of Sabar dance in Senegal.
