Jared Hill
The Science of Street Dance
Jared Hill, a native to Colorado, found his love for movement at a young age, being inspired by music and the freedom he felt through dance. He began exploring “Steppn” and other social dances that created a platform to explore the evolving styles of Hip Hop at that time. With a strong Hip Hop influence he found connections in organizations that were Hip Hop based, which gave an alternative to the growing youth violence in the early 90s.
Because of his unique skill and ability to captivate an audience, Jared was sought after to be the opening act for groups like Boyz II Men, 112, Case, Dave Hollister, Adina Howard, Naughty by Nature, and numerous other R&B recording artists in the late 1990’s. In 2002 Jared placed number One in the nation of over 130,000 competitors in the Newport Rhythm and Sound dance competition with his infamous “Hat Dance”. In the Summer of 2007 Jared had the opportunity to train and perform with his good friend Gary Kendall (one of the founding members of the infamous Jabbawockeez crew) in his HipHop musical production Monster Shop Bumpn.
Jared has also been featured in music videos like “Like a Hobo” by Charlie Winston, ranked #1 in Paris in 2010, “Don’t Let Me Fall” and “Strange Clouds” by B.O.B in 2012 and 2013, and B.O.B’s Air Bender in 2016. Throughout his career he’s toured in France, Switzerland, Korea, China, Singapore, and Indonesia.
Now, based on his years of experience inside HipHop as well as other spiritual circles, Jared has turned his focus to training and developing the next generation of dancers through his program the Science of Street Dance.

Lord of the Dance
Shanti Shivani is a singer/nada yogini/sound healer, internationally acclaimed seminar leader and recording artist. She is one of the few Western pioneers bringing the sacred traditions of Nada Yoga and Dhrupad, the most ancient style of Hindustani classical music, to the West. She brings a wealth of vocal, meditative and movement experience to her classes. Since 1981, Shanti has been the disciple or parampara student of the premier family of the Dhrupad lineage, the Dagar family, who has been passing on the Dhrupad tradition for twenty generations.
On her quest for healing and self-realization through sound, she also studied with renowned Western musicians and sound healers such as Fabien Maman of the Academy of Sound, Colour and Movement. Frédérick Leboyer, the father of natural childbirth, with whom she collaborated for several years, was a key mentor for her, as he helped her understand the profound connection between voice, breath and movement.
Shanti also dedicated herself to learning different forms of movement disciplines (Hatha Yoga, Wholistic Body/Mind training, Qi Gong, Wu Chi, Tao Yin Fa, Unity in Motion) with acclaimed Asian, European and American teachers.
