Working with Covid patients

Dr. Singh has been working as a Respiratory consultant at Luton and Dunstable University hospital, which comes under the university of London. Having graduated in India he was working as a faculty at the Christian Medical college Vellore India.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Dr. Singh was working on the Frontline doctor where each day  he saw over 20 patients with Corona virus symptoms and a good number of patients who had tested positive for this virus. He had to take tough decisions on who is going home for self-quarantine, who would be admitted to the respiratory ward for further treatment or ITU admission.
Dr. Singh got infected and chest x-ray showed complete white. He required oxygen treatment for one month. During that time he lost 14 kg…
He had all the symptoms starting from lack of smell to high fever. Thankfully he is now fully recovered and continues to  work with the same positive spirit whilst seeing patients who are corona-positive.

Easy steps to building your

Body & Immunity

Dr. Nick Delgado is a living testament to what Anti-Aging and lifestyle medicine can do for those who want to push the limits of the human body. Even now in his sixties, he still competes in strength endurance competitions. With the help of techniques from his anti-aging protocol, Nick shattered his own previous World Record for most pounds lifted overhead in an hour (50,640 pounds) – proving that we don’t have to get ‘old’ as we age.

Fomite and Airborne

transmission of coronavirus

Dr. Rajneesh Bhardwaj is currently serving as Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at I.I.T. Bombay, Mumbai, India. His research interests are in COVID-19, transmission, droplets, interfacial flows and fluid-structure interaction. He earned Ph.D. with distinction from Columbia University, New York, USA in 2009 and was a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA before joining I.I.T in 2012. He is a member of The National Academy of Sciences (NASI), India and won Young Engineer Award from Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) in 2014.

It has-been well-established now that COVID-19 spread by fomite and airborne transmission of respiratory droplets of an infected subject. The airborne transmission is more predominant than the fomite. In this talk, we will discuss the understanding of these transmissions via combining comprehensive mathematical models with experimental data. In particular, we shall present evolution of volume of cough cloud, probability of infection through coughing and the role of breeze on airborne transmission in outdoor conditions. The likelihood of survival of coronavirus on different surfaces and in different ambient conditions will be analysed. Safety aspects of different conditions and materials and associated mitigation of COVID-19 will be discussed.
