Lalit Sodha, D.C. graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Toronto, Canada in 1990.He also qualified with the Spine Research Institute of San Diego in the Masters Program in Whiplash Injuries (1994), hence has a keen interest in treating patients with whiplash injuries. Lalit Sodha, D.C. also prepares medical-legal reports for insurance companies and their patients.

Over the years, he has had the privilege of treating numerous singers, dancers and performers at Wembley Arena before and after performances.

Camille Dowling Ibanes

Camille Dowling Ibanes is an athlete and scholar who spent most of her childhood playing women’s basketball for University of the Philippines and the Philippine Youth National Team. She married to a professional basketball player Jireh Ibanes of the Rain or Shine Elastopainters, the two have held basketball clinics around the country and use their ministry to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

On March 20 POPBURRI popsicle shop stopped serving food and turned itself into a homeless shelter when the government mandated an enhanced community quarantine in the city of Metro Manila (Philippines). The curfew set by President Rodrigo Duterte forbade people to be out at night past 8pm, and it boded difficult for those without a home who were continually being arrested. Camille Dowling Ibanes (Popburri owner) and the entire community created a shelter that allowed homeless clients to eat, shower, do laundry and sleep from 6pm to 6am. After 9 days the local government unit shut down the initiative due to neighbour fears and complaints. The facility closed after hosting 72 people on its final night.

Sanjiv Patel

Sanjiv Patel, an Associate Fellow of Warwick Business School and Co-Chair of its Global Mentoring Programme, spends much of his time looking for ways to make a difference.
He strives to live by his Guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s credo, ‘In the Joy of Others Lies Our Own’ and says that this compass has helped him navigate through no end of achallenging situations.
Despite Sanjiv and all his family having suffered from COVID-19, he has managed to maintain his seva together with other volunteers of the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Leicester, to reach out to those in need across the whole community during these difficult times. His video on how to beat COVID through simple insights that he picked up along his journey has reached thousands across the globe. All of this he puts down to the teachings and blessings of his Gurus His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj and the current spiritual head of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, his Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj.

Shivali is a longstanding member of the volunteer staff at a weekend community school in London: the Sai School of Harrow. Her outstanding commitment was nationally recognised when she was awarded the ‘Princess Diana Award’ for voluntary service and won the ‘Inspiring Asian Women’s award‘ for being an ‘inspirational role model’. Her motto in life is, “If my children see me do something good for others, I hope this will inspire them to do the same, to improve future generations!”

Piyush Khare

Piyush Khare, a resident of Vadodara, Gujarat started “Happy Faces Vadodara” 5 years back. He has done his MBA in Marketing and is now an entrepreneur by profession and philanthropist by heart. He is the owner of a digital marketing firm known as “Interactive WebStation”.
Piyush, along with few friends started distributing food packets, clothes, toys, groceries to those in need. Seeing, the dedication and the wonderful work he was doing, a lot of people started to join him and now he has over 350 volunteers. The team started providing meals to thousands of people during floods and Covid -19 lockdown.

The Happy Faces Team has come up with another two initiatives- “Life+” and “Paws of Vadodara” which during lockdown provides daily meals to 150+ dogs and aspire to serve over 1500 paws daily in next 6 months.

Sarita has over 31 years of experience working within the media industry as a Radio and Television presenter. She entered the broadcasting arena whilst studying in Delhi as a radio presenter and singer.
In 1989 Sarita started as a presenter on the first Asian radio station Sunrise radio in the UK and was the first TV presenter to be on TV ASIA’S sky transmission, hosting the Asian morning magazine show. She has worked for Zee TV as a Producer and Presenter in 94/95.
Between 2008-Dec 2013., Sarita has worked as a Station Manager/ Presenter/ producer for Sunrise TV. Hosted health Show, Live interactive shows, and the cookery show Aap Ke Kitchen mein.
2014- April 2020 worked as head of programming & Drive time presenter Lyca/Dilse radio. 
Sarita has done various TV commercials and Inflight entertainment shows for Virgin Atlantic and musical show for Lufthansa airline. 
Currently she conducts Heart 2 Heart conversation with celebrities on her YouTube channel & on FB.

Born and brought up in the beautiful city of Shillong, Dr. Debashish Das completed his Pre University from St. Edmund’s College, Shillong, and pursued his MBBS from Silchar Medical College. After his Post Graduation in Pediatrics from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, he did his Fellowship in Neonatology from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. A LIFE MEMBER OF THE INDIAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS, NATIONAL NEONATOLOGY FORUM and the PEDIATRIC CARDIAC SOCIETY OF INDIA he was instrumental in forming the Meghalaya State Chapter of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
An AKS fellow, and as a physician working in the Hospital, they are in constant contact with patients and attendants whom they treat without taking into account whether they are Covid positive or not. As the District Governor of Rotary, he managed to involve all the 92 clubs in North East and Bengal to participate in distributing masks and sanitisers through the Rotary Disaster response Grant

Dr. Singh has been working as a Respiratory consultant at Luton and Dunstable University hospital, which comes under the university of London. Having graduated in India he was working as a faculty at the Christian Medical college Vellore India.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Dr. Singh was working on the Frontline doctor where each day  he saw over 20 patients with Corona virus symptoms and a good number of patients who had tested positive for this virus. He had to take tough decisions on who is going home for self-quarantine, who would be admitted to the respiratory ward for further treatment or ITU admission.
Dr. Singh got infected and chest x-ray showed complete white. He required oxygen treatment for one month. During that time he lost 14 kg…
He had all the symptoms starting from lack of smell to high fever. Thankfully he is now fully recovered and continues to  work with the same positive spirit whilst seeing patients who are corona-positive.

Dr. Harvinder Singh Bhamra

Dr. Harvinder Singh Bhamra

Dr. Bhamra is an emergency medicine doctor at Basildon hospital, in Essex, he has been one of the many doctors on the front line diagnosing and treating patients with COVID-19. Between March and July 2020 700 patients have been treated by his unit. He and his team have seen the many different presentations of   COVID-19 and have witnessed the effects that the virus has had on each individual and their respective families. 
Dr Bhamra has had a trying time personally as his partner has been pregnant during the crisis and lockdown. He has had to ensure the safety of his partner and future child by making sure every precaution is taken, down to sleeping in separate rooms and at  his mothers home to mitigate the risk. 
He has worked tirelessly despite the great personal risk to help those in their time of greatest need.
