Bhagwati Makwana. born in Uganda, moved to UK in 1972. Her whole family are from a musical background and have sung for a number of years. Her mother was nominated the best Garba singer in Lugazi and continued to be the centre point of singing every NAVRATRI when they moved to UK. All the siblings were taught Sargams by her father when they were young.
Bhagwati’s sister in turn followed her mother’s footsteps along with her brother singing Garba and Bhajans. Bhagwati took the Bollywood route and has now been singing for the past 20 years. The family tree carries on and now her daughter. Roshni, has turned out to be an amazing singer. Together with her daughter they have their own successful music group SITAARE.
Today is very special as it is her late father’s birthday ❤️

To name a few – American platinum star Ginuwine, Bill Bailey, Nusarahat Fatehalikhan, Zakir Hussein, and many more. 2016 was another landmark year in his music career. He was invited to be part of a very prestigious panel of judges to judge the finals of world’s biggest – Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

Anuradha Shukla, originally from Kenya, is a Lead female singer and artistic Director of most popular band Strings of UK. She has performed all over the world independently and with her band and various other prominent bands such as Alaap, Heera and many more. She has recorded with various international artists including Multi Platinum Artiste-Genuine, Bill Bailey and McFly. She toured with world-famous band from Germany Didsedenten for Jungle book. Which won a Grammy award for the album.
Anuradha has performed for various dignitaries including the Royal family of Britain, the Royal family of Oman, Universal Pictures, Goldman Sachs, Louis Vuitton and Salman Khan productions.

Neelima Penumarthy is Founder/Director of StoryHour. Her first production, the hour-long audiobook, Ramayana : An Ancient Indian Epic, was written and narrated by her teenage sons, Shreyas and Ayur Pulle. Accolades included, “Best audiobooks of 2017”, The Times UK. British Airways selected it for in-flight entertainment. The RNIB translated it into Braille and Talking Book versions for their library. Audible lists Hindi and Telugu versions narrated by teenagers. Neelima produced a spellbinding 20-minute Ramayana puppet show, playing to packed audiences at Diwali in London, Trafalgar Square and Nehru Centre, for three years! It was featured by the BBC on Diwali 2019. English, Hindi, Gujarati, French, Spanish, German and Italian versions are on Youtube. Indian embassy cultural centres in Berlin, Paris and London featured it on Diwali 2020.

Her recent accomplishment is winning the runner up crown of Mrs. Bharat New England and title holder of Mrs. Bharat USA classic.
