Dr Honey Kalaria is a mind body soul coach and a multi award-winning creative dance expert with over 35 years of experience in the field of art, culture & entertainment. Honey is also a media presenter, has appeared on numerous television programs, choreographed for films, worked with celebrities, including appearing on program presented by top celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, as well as being a presenter herself for the hit TV series “Cooking Queen” aired on NDTV.  
Being a pure vegetarian herself, she takes pleasure in sharing healthy living and diet tips with dancers and creative artists, together with offering coaching to help develop performing arts careers. Her work involves providing education through a powerful combination of personal development, creativity and spiritual wisdom.
In her work career, Honey has trained over 500,000 students.

Dr Bharat Pankhania has widespread experience of advising on national communicable disease control action plans at national and international level.
Dr Pankhania, as a senior Consultant in Communicable Disease Control, coordinated complex and very sensitive look back exercises, where there had been laboratory errors or hospital exposure of patients to infections, these are major national exercises and very sensitive operations.
Dr Pankhania’s experience includes: Pandemic Influenza outbreak planning and major plan testing exercises: Development of a web-based surveillance system for recording the first 500 plus cases of a pandemic, to quickly understand the new virus and thus better implement control measures.

Dr Pankhania is keen cook and loves preparing various vegetarian  dishes. He loves entertaining guests with his type of cooking and delicacies.

Anil and Saivani, a father and daughter duo are both keen cook and the Samboos love to prepare dishes for family and friends regularly.
Anil Shankar, a senior flight purser and a very down to earth jovial person, loves doing seva (Service to the needy), helping people, traveling, exploring the world answer above all, a wonderful chef.
He enjoys preparing diverse cuisines of the various countries and cultures. His speciality being… well just everything!
Anil’s motto: A family that prays together, cooks together, eats together, stays together!

Saivani, a child psychologist and counsellor, artist – Singer and performer, inherited the cooking skills from both mother and father. Very often, both daughter and father are found in the kitchen, cooking together! Whilst father prepares the starters and main course, Saivani gets busy with the desserts! She loves to learn the new cooking styles and the secret magical recipes from her father! Saivani enjoys discovering new dishes and putting on her Chef cap whenever the opportunity arises!

Yam Delights, known as Gateau Arouille in Mauritius are small fried dumplings. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s one of the favourite snacks of Mauritians! 
The Arouille is a small tuber. Brown on the outside with a fibrous texture reminiscent of coconut, its flesh is white or purple depending on where it’s grown and cultivated, usually in tropical regions. 
Its taste is reminiscent of potato. It is eaten exclusively cooked because raw, it is bitter! This root vegetable is rich in protein and low in fat, it is an excellent nutritious staple.

a refreshing avocado and banana smoothie 

Tina Patel moved to England after getting married, she was born and raised in Kenya, where her love for cooking stemmed from her mother, who was a very talented cook. From a very young age she learnt to cook, and her skills and knowledge of cooking have been growing ever since. Tina takes inspiration from online recipes, her mother’s cooking, and many dishes she makes are creative and intuitive. She enjoys cooking a wide variety of cuisines including Indian, Mexican, Chinese, and Italian.

In this session, she will be preparing Chevdo (popular Indian snack), incorporating traditional ingredients with her own ideas, alongside this she will be making a healthy avocado and banana smoothie.

In this session Seema and Alisha will demo a simple and easy to make vegan rosti with a twist – a flambed chilie laced tomato.

Healthy Twist – Vegan

Born and brought up in New Delhi, India, Alisha moved to London at 16 years old and has been passionate about creating recipes and cooking since she was a little girl. At 22 years old she is now a psychology masters graduate and is passionate about wellbeing both mentally and physically, and is therefore using her vegan social media page to promote healthy living, mostly through her recipes! 
Alisha has been vegan for just over a year and has dived into her Indian roots and started learning the health benefits of using nature and plants as her source of medicine, using naturopathic and Ayurvedic teachings. She also started learning about Dr. Sebi’s nutritional guide to alkaline eating and how a lot of his teachings correlate with ancient Ayurvedic teachings.
