Self-Esteem in a Selfie World
Shobha Nihalani has been writing for over 25 years and is an author of 10 books – 8 novels and 2 non-fiction titles. She has recently taken a slight detour in her career path to become a life coach.
This change started when she was commissioned to write a self-help book. Shobha took up the challenge and chose a topic close to her heart. Her book will be releasing this summer. It is titled: Reboot, Reflect, Revive: Self-esteem in a Selfie World, published by SAGE India.
Today, she shares with us some of the issues related to self-esteem and how it affects almost every aspect of our lives. Our ability to achieve goals and to lead a fulfilling life is often influenced by how we feel about ourselves. We hold ourselves back from taking risks. We worry what people will say. We stop ourselves from being the best version of our selves.
